Well I'm not sure why theres not a glut of little efficient hybrids then if they knew what was being demanded right now

I'm in the middle here, but I do think they intentionally miss the boat on trends that could lead to a decline in sales. Hell, I would! lol Sometimes a mandated efficiency is the only way to force them to make more efficient vehicles. My 96 POS car still gets better mileage than 99% of new cars, hybrid or not.
