I'd probably opt away from the Q..
While it definitely would be freaking awesome if worked right, it has so many little annoyances and such that are just a pain to deal with in a phone.
That said, I have one and plan on keeping it for a while longer still. However, in low-signal areas and such it can really get cranky. I had issues today with it wanting to charge past a minimal 15-20 minutes of battery life. Wiped/upgraded software on it and so far it's fine again.
Pros: Awesome voice quality, decently sized, access to sync'ed calendar, contacts, and on-the-go email. Decent web browser in a pinch. Also nice keyboard for a phone of it's size.
Cons: Not so great at e-mail, blackberry puts it to shame. Battery life can be "finicky" at best - under good conditions it lasts a good 2 days, under bad conditions it lasts maybe 8 hours. Go figure.
All in all, and decent "first try", but definitely a number of issues to work out with it.
