Seriously...the closest I may have even gotten to talking about industry is..."Have you seen Lance lately?" a mutual friend.
Like I said earlier...it would have been easier for her to just say..."hey Cary, I'm kind of busy I'll talk to you real soon, but it sure was nice seeing you."
How do you explain to the person you're walking with why you snubbed some guy at the mall..especially when the guy you snubbed is just standing there with his mouth open in shock.
