Plan details came out... plans start at $60 bux a month, with unlimited data included. Check engadget where they did a TCO of the iPhone compared to other smartphones. Priced in line with the rest of the market. The 60% margin is a pretty dubious claim, (but possible). The phone is more expensive, so you pay more upfront, but the plans are actually cheaper than most out there, so at the end of 2 years, you actually come out about even.

All the demos and videos make it look pretty easy to do all those things. Kind of subjective. EDGE is a drawback, but even still, most places in the country dont have GSM 3g, yet.

Wi-fi also included. EDGE isnt that slow, in many cases, and 3g operates at much slower speeds than advertised. Theres a lot of hype behind that buzzword, but a lot less performance. What are you doing getting large email attachments anyways? Email is not a file sharing service. Big attachments = bad mkay? Either way, I can live without 3g... of course some people will disagree.

2mp camera yes, thats what it has.. looking at most smartphones of that caliber, you generally dont see anything better than that, and in many cases a 1.3 cam. I have a Nokia n80 with a 3mp camera, a phone renowned for photosnapping capabilities, and its pictures look like shit. We just wont be able to judge the quality till it comes out.
