This has been nagging me for a little while. What would you do if someone refused to pay you, except for a token, and then became very difficult to communicate with?

I have been owed money by someone who will remain un-named. (Nondisclosure clause, which I don't intend to violate.) When I try to contact them about it, something always comes up. We're talking a few grand a few months late.

What would you do? I have been sitting quietly and waiting for the reply, but bills are going unpaid. Any nice solutions you can see?
