Ian, if you remain passive about money you're owed you'll never get it.
Sometimes you need to go for their balls. If someone doesn't pay you what they owe you and continuously avoid you, leave your passive side at home and hunt them down.
YOUR bills aren't getting paid because of THEM. Fuck them. They need to pay up. Once someone starts to have a negative impact on your life, all niceties should be thrown aside.
