When I watched it, it was usually on Saturday afternoons. David Horowitz was a consumer affairs reporter for I think NBC...anyway you could mail him and he would "fight back" for you against corrupt companies.
He would also challenge commercials that would air. One I remember was a dish washing soap company that washed a crystal chandelier and said there were no spots afterwards. They would recreate every aspect of the commercial on their show to see if the claims held up.
I think a show like that in this day of reality television would make for good and interesting t.v.
