Well, looks like someone just learned how business works.
No matter what company in the world you work for.... anything you do, anything you create, any idea you come up with.... is owned by the company.
If you work for Google and you can up with the idea of Gmail and helped to put it together, at the end of the day, when you are let go, you get nothing and the company continues to make a profit on your idea and or the work you did. This is why the company paid the employee for in the first place, and the company invested "x" amount of dollars into the project - And thus, the project is owned by the company and not the employee.
The same rules apply here. Phil paid to put in place the affiliate system, the graphics, the hosting, the programming, and the marketing. Phil invested his money into the model, and he owns all of the content, the site design, the domain name, everything. Without Phil this gal is nothing more than a cute chick working at Wendy's.
