I didnt see Michael Moore once mention it.

Why??

Becasue it would let the air out of his balloon of a shit movie.

Yeah, I'll give you that his movies are a lot of hype... but he's got a point, too... and it's a documentary - not the news (even though I'd say his documentaries are more even keeled then some of the news coming out these days... /cough Fox /cough).

I mean, sure the welfare peeps are (kinda) taken care of... but it's the honest middle-class peeps that are hit hard by our medical system.

For starters, they don't have, or won't sign up for welfare.

And yeah (I'm surprised the Hobbit kid didn't mention this one - seems up his alley), you can enter just about any government-run medical emergency room in the country, and be guaranteed you'll be treated without the need to pay up front, but the honest bloke either doesn't want to or doesn't know he can, technically, skip out on the tab - and therefore, typically, won't.

It'd be a good thing if we had an honest socialized system, I think - where one doesn't have to apply for and/or be denied for government assistance beforehand in order to receive it.

An honest socialized system competing with the private sector.
