BellSouth E-Mail Servers - 9 state outage right now
BellSouths Dialup and FastAccess E-Mail servers affecting 9 southern states have been down all day and are still down, in case anyone is sending or receiving mail on this network.
Here is the official system down notice.

Problem: The following message has been posted to inform you of an issue in your area. In addition, the Interactive Voice Response System (IVR) has been updated to reflect the current status.
Who? All Dial and FastAccess customers are affected by this outage.
What? Our customers will be unable to send or receive their e-mail at this time.
When? This outage began at 6:00a.m. EST on Monday, January 20th, 2003.
Where? Service in the nine-state region is currently impacted by this outage.
Why? We are experiencing difficulty with our e-mail servers. The estimated time of resolution is 7:30a.m.EST. We will update this message when service has been fully restored. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for choosing BellSouth Internet Services.
