I was trying to be funny. But I do believe the US is on top.
I can't really comment on Korea because I know so little about it. I know little about Vietnam (although my father died there), but from what little I do know it seems our government tied our hands and refused to let the military do it's job.
Iraq.... The general public seems to think that Iraq is a failure, when in truth it was a staggering succuss. With very little losses on our side we destroyed what little of the Iraqi army was willing to fight, and took out their govenment. With the exception of Hilter over running countries in WWII, this kind of a battle is rarely seen. What's going on now is not a war but a military occupation with terrorists taking pot shots.
We've had five thousand American soldiers die in Iraq in the past few years. While any loss of life pains me - being former military myself - during WWII we lost ten thousand people a day.
As for China..... I believe the fact that our Navy and Air Force is larger and stronger puts us on top. If you can't control the oceans you can't control shit, and if you don't own the skies.... your troops can't move. You can have five million China men but if they are pinned down from the air and can't move it's just going to be a shooting gallery and a slaughter.
Beside, China can never ever attack the US. It will never happen.
