Perhaps he just doesn't find you physically appealing. Maybe you should work for his attention a little.
Kidding aside I don't own a pitbull but I have a friend who does and that thing is the gentlest dog I've ever seen...the vicious creature cries all the time, even in its sleep. I suppose it's how you train them, both my Fox-terriers are far more aggressive...they wouldn't rape me but they did rape some shoes I had.
