You truly don't understand, do you? it isn't about your libel case, it is about the precedent they would set in allowing any schmoo with a $10 per letter lawyer to pull information on users.
They are very likely to ask you to show cause at minimum. They may ask for a hearing, and attempt to limit the information to only the posts you specifically list. They could argue that they don't keep records that long, that their dog ate their homework, or almost anything else. They could also argue points of privacy, access to personal information, and such.
They have no reason to just give you information because you ask for it. ISPs are exactly the same, see how hard they fought witht he RIAA about info on their users - and they didn't have a real dog in the fight.
You are totally fucked if you think you can toss around "lawsuit" unless you are financially able to support the true costs to the end.
Why this fake nick of the week hasn't already been banned is beyond me.
