To be honest, it just doesn't sound like Lisa did this at all. No one has put her anywhere near the wallet in the first place, and the only evidence is someone tried to use it to pay for her room. If she had dinner with the guy or was hanging in his room over the weekend, that's one thing, but they don't even seem like acquaintances. Also, stealing a wallet and using the credit card to pay for your own room is straight up retarded. I could see a 19 year old drunk single girl doing it, but not someone who is older and been in the industry for years.
So if it wasn't Lisa, it was probably some asshole who stole it and decided to fuck you over more by charging shit on it. Someone who steals a wallet for the money is not dumb enough to charge shit on the card (especially if they found $1000 in it). Someone who is trying to be an asshole and doesn't like you is willing to charge shit on the card to be an asshole.
Unless someone can put the girl anywhere in the vicinity of the wallet, it's hard to believe it's her. If that's the case, if I was her, I'd be quiet, on the phone with my lawyer first thing in the morning and realizing that if I lost the Booble competition, I'd actually win.
