Seems to me if there isn't a video tape of Lisa herself standing at the check out desk attempting to use that credit card, there is no proof she is involved in any way. Even IF someone staying in her room tried to use the card ...it doesn't mean SHES guilty of anything, or had any knowledge of the event.
Hotels make mistakes..it could have been something as simple as an employee entering the wrong room number..there are a 100 different ways this could have happened.
I would say that Lisa has a very strong case for a defamation suit against Mike Hawk...I hope he has deep pockets because I have a feeling this is going to cost him many times more than $5k...The damage has been done..its too late to say "Sorry I made a mistake".
