Only people who have been close to someone who has killed themselves know what suicide means.
Those who commit suicide are those who, for whatever reason, feel that life is not worth living any more... and that could be for an infinite amount of reasons. Suicide has always existed and always will. It takes men and women, it takes the religious and it takes atheists, it takes the rich and the poor, it takes, white, black, yellow and every shade in between.
You cannot generalise about suicide - it is far too complex and personal for that.
