Sorry.. but I had to go back and read one of Caz's post where he said,
It shows clearly that a person went to the front desk with my card and probably my wallet and paid off the room for who we know as Lisa Sparxxx with my credit card. The fax is in front of me and clearly states it was presented at the front desk.
Nothing shows by anything that the physical card was used unless he can see it on the tapes..
Just shows that his number was used, so I shall fall back on my original thoughts that it was the hotel that fudged it.. accidentally or otherwise..
