God says it's wrong:
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife.
covet:
1. to desire wrongfully, inordinately, or without due regard for the rights of others: to covet another's property.
2. to wish for, esp. eagerly: He won the prize they all coveted.

I say there's nothing wrong in wanting. It's what makes us humans human... a proud member of the animal kingdom.
