Agreed in full, BUT... "bro" is also reading a thread thoroughly and knowing when it's in the bro's best interest for you to tell him/them when he/they are in the wrong.

Both plausible and sensible. However, the bros in question haven't shown this same sense, have they?
I'm seeing a few self-purported professionals in this business having almost zero sense of damage control in them, much less a sense of fair play or even basic respect when it comes to knowing when and how to make amends, an apology, etc.
Are these people we really want to be in business with? I'm definitely questioning that lately.
