Actually, at the moment I don't know whose statements add up, and whose don't. After all, bbwpixie seems to be willing to have it verified that there are indeed two different people involved.
Did the two accounts sign up with the same IP? (you mentioned you look at more than just IP - many systems of identifying computers based on things other than IP can cause false positives)
