It's for Your Own Protection against Cheaters who would use the reasons you give as Excuses to cheat.
For years People go to the trouble of setting up a link trade... only to get dicked over by some ass who says... Oh... I sold that domain, Oh... that's my brothers account... or any number of excuses to say that it was not they that dicked you over.
YES... the system is SCARY.... but only for those who don't understand it... or those who realize it is the end if their Scamming/Cheating Days.
