Who uses their paid membership.

I have a free one and decided to do an auction and they require a payment method. No problem, but when I clicked to use paypal it seemed like they were trying to charge me a fee, but I couldn't see what the charge was if any. So I closed the window.

What's the deal?

Do they charge you to submit a domain for an auction?
