I looked at satanism once...

I had a problem with the whole 'if a man insults you in your house - destroy him' pillar.

All, in all, it seems the religion's a perfect fit for egocentric assholes... which I try and avoid being one of, myself.

I'd argue your use of identifying the Brahma and Satan as synonymous in your original post as inaccurate.

I mean, while the construct of 'Satan' or the ideals of atheism are certainly a part of Brahma, Brahma in the embodiment of everything in existence. All is Brahma. Brahma is all.

The concept of "Satan," as it actively separates itself from other religious constructs... is but a small part of Brahma.

In an Parmenidian sense (hate/love philosophy), as it's concerned with the success and elevation of the individual over society, Satanism could be expressed at the concept of "hate" - acting upon the universe to drive it into diversity and separation, while the Brahma is the epitome of "Love." as it brings the Universe together into one - all parts of itself.

To compare the two as one and the same is obtuse, imho. Parmenides woulda told you the two concepts are polar opposites, I think.
