For future reference, the word is "immigrate."

You "immigrate" TO a country.

You "emigrate" FROM a country.

e.g. if you immigrated to the U.S. from Malta you'd be emigrating from Malta to the U.S.

I know it's just semantics, but worth pointing out, imho.
