Twenty+ years from now history will judge his presidency. Odds are it won't be harsh. If you were around during Nixon's administration you'll understand.
And in that 20 year period people will remember that a despot Iraqi dictator started the whole event by invading his neighbor with his sights set on Saudi Arabia and control of all the oil in the middle east. History will also remember who rid the world of that dictator.
So who is the idiot?

It's very unfair to judge a sitting President, and still unfair to judge him after he left office. I'm not a supporter of Bush; I can't wait to see him removed out of office. Thank God for term limits.
There has been a number of times when a US President has left office with low popularity, only thirty years later to be hailed as a hero. Time changes our thoughts. Wasn't Truman considered a horrible president at the time but is now considered one of the best Presidents of all time? And wasn't JFK hailed as a "great leader" in our day, but now history has shown us exactly how reckless he was?
Everyone seems to have forgotten the original reason we into Iraq. Iraq invaded another country and raped it and then set fire to it's oil wells as they got their asses kicked back into Iraq.
I really wonder how history will judge both Bushes thirty years from now.
