I mean, if you're using this script, it checks for a recip link before adding a link exchange, right?
so why not allow people to easily use the AUTOADD option if the script will make sure they have your link on their site?
I don't get how in this case the Captcha feature helps... do you only want to do link exchange with hard working people and keep the lazy webmasters away? if so, I understand... but that's about the only think the captcha feature does, because the script already does what actually matters.
