We all know how this works. If the person contacts them, they say they will take care of it and they hope the person forgets about it. If the person does follow up and sees they did nothing then at worst they have pissed off 1 person.
On the other hand, it is posted here and 20 people will keep following up on it, and they are forced to do it.
I agree to notify the company, they might not read the boards and emailing them should be the fastest way to contact them. But i don't think it is unprofessional to make a post about it.
how about this, send them an email first, and then make a post telling us that you just contracted them about ....... etc...
Or if you want to give them the benefit of the doubt, email them about the problem and let them know you will be posting this to GFY if there is no resolution in 3 days, and copy the convo here when you make the post.
