I have 5 domains running it, 5 different hosts, all mainstream, 50 templates (to reduce footprints), 20-25 blogs on each domain, updating daily, after 4 months traffic is around 100-300 uniques a day and growing on each one
I set them up conservatively, i do not have many external links going to them and I run no ads on them, just lightly seed them with links to other sites, none have been blacklisted. Traffic is shit compared to many of my other test projects but its still traffic and they do run 100% hands free
