If Sticky needed the money to pay his bills, and had to send you a camera in place of it.. I think he's already got plenty of his own problems to deal with. He could be broke and hungry and trying to feed a family, etc.. and realizes that it may be hard to do with a bad reputation.
Maybe everyone could donate $5 or $50 to his paypal account.
