I was going to suggest making sure you have other strong lozenges (non-nicotine) around and maybe popping those down the road when you feel the urge. Mix it up a bit. Don't let your mind and body learn to identify a lozenge with a dose of nicotine.
Congrats on 3 days, man... the next few (and couple of weeks) are probably gonna be harder - so be prepared. I once heard someone say when you've quit smoking for the same number of months as years that you've been smoking, you're a lot more free... and I found that to be the case when I quit, 8 years ago.
And I used NRT.
But for now, it's day-to-day... Remember why you quit, and, again - any pains that you've already put behind you will have to be relived if you light up another smoke. Keep those thoughts in the forefront, and they should help greatly.
