Remote desktop question
Anyone here know if you have to change your TCP/IP settings to match the computer you are trying to access if you are NOT on the local area network?
I was able to successfully set up remote desktop between two machines that are on the same network. But now we're trying to set one up from a machine that is 10 miles away.
We keep getting "the client could not connect to the remote computer. remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. it is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. please try connecting again later. if the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator." error message
Anyone have experience doing that?
