In other words, I doubt the people living in those tan apartments would be hanging out on the ground floor.
That is if they would even hold up.
You won't see buildings like that being built here in Florida on the ocean any more. They design them for when the surge comes in the water is channelled around and under the house. There is no way to stop a storm surge. You have to "go with the flow".....
