I remember when I was married with children we had purchased a Dodge Caravan. It was the "in thing" as far as family mini-vans were concerned, and my only real complaint with it was that there was a carburetion issue, that was caused by some electronic issue.
It was then that I decided that wires and carburetors were not a good thing.
Fast forward to 2007.
I just happened to look up the fuel injection system used on Harleys these days.
All I can say is that I am glad I have roadside assistance because there is no way in hell I would be able to do anything about this on the side of the road.
