You won't see buildings like that being built here in Florida on the ocean any more. They design them for when the surge comes in the water is channelled around and under the house. There is no way to stop a storm surge. You have to "go with the flow"..... |
Yeah..I cant imagine a category 4 or 5 really. One of the receptionists at the hotel told me he was in a category 5 at another hotel and you can even walk the winds are so strong. I really feel for those cities and countries in the 'hurricane zone'.
