Hi Patty, Hi Michael!
I have to say CONGRADULATIONS TO YOU for putting on such a great show. I was so happy to see so many people on the trade show floor, and so many people at all of the parties! Everyone I talked to had a good time of course, but more importantly everyone made some great new contacts - I know we did!
One small story: Thanks to the welcome party, we were late getting to the trade show to setup our booth (I think we were the last ones). We had to bring our stuff from the shipping area, past a bunch of elevators and tight corners, right through the kitchen, etc. An ackward path for sure. I'm freaking out because we're the last ones to setup, our network switch is flaky, and our new computers won't boot. I'm on my hands and knees struggling to fix a pc while my cell phone is ringing off the hook about another problem, all while a potential new customer is standing waiting for me to give him a demo. I'm unprepared, sweating like a pig, and getting discouraged.
...And then I see Patti and Mike, smiling big smiles to everyone, greeting everyone like they are their best friends, Calm as can be. Here I am tripping because my one little booth isn't working right, and they aren't even breaking a sweat putting on this huge show!
Hats-off to you guys, M & P! I don't know how you did it but you seem to double the size of your show each year, but make it seem easier each year as well.
Please count 2MUCH.NET and LIVECAMNETWORK.COM as among your supporter again next year. (Only 11 months until Qwebec Expo 2008!)
