in some countries it is ok to kill people, so if people from that country murder the pirate bay crew it will be ok, because it is legal in their country.
We all know the laws, and that the US laws can not apply to TPB because they are not in the us, but that doesn't make what they are doing justified.
You can't have it both ways, if the hack is coming from a country where hacking is not a crime, the i guess oh well the pirate bay is fucked, what is their defense then ?
