Matt, one of the reasons why countries like Saudi Arabia and China actively block porn sites. However, you are hitting an apples and oranges sort of thing in a way, because porn is a "moral" issue, and stealing work product and actively redistributing it isn't a moral issue, it is a purely criminal issue.
It would be an entirely different discussion if porn was only legal in the US and illegal everywhere else. You don't think perhaps that there would be major network block and active campaigns by foreign governments to stop the porn?
Think about it.
The Pirate Bay is standing on the head of a legal pin and then has the balls to point fingers at others. They certainly don't have the moral high ground to get so uppity.
I think that it would be perfectly acceptable to cut internet access to a couple of countries and see what the end result would be. Sweden and China can go first.
