.torrent files and their hosts don't steal content, the people that steal the content, steal content. maybe these large media companies should take a look at the growing amount of theft and the money they are losing and a look at sites like youtube that are raking in it. maybe, just maybe, people are tired of paying out their asses to be entertained???
but fuck, what do i know? im just another idiot adult webmaster ;)

It's not the hosting of legitimate torrent files, it's the hosting of torrent files that point to illegal content. Plain and simple. If you can't make that distinction, then you don't understand the situation at all.
They are being the PIMP, which is just as bad as being the hooker. Or they are being the guy that tells you where to find the drugs, but aren't doing the sale of the drugs. Bad is Bad, Right is Right and wrong is wrong. What they are doing is wrong. There's no justification you can make that says hey... they aren't the ones trading content... they are just pointing to it.... that's not bad.... Bullshit. without them, the whole thing goes from being as popular and accesible as it is, to being almost non-existent. Without the pusher, the drug seller has no customers. Without the Pimp, the hooker makes one or two tricks a month instead of enough to buy a new Mercedes with.
They know what they are doing and they know that they are in the wrong. No two ways about it.
