A backup network providing copies of needed disks to valid owners wouldn't be hiding the files on everyone else's computer.
The actions of torrent sites by nature suggests a desire to circumvent or make difficult the enforcement of copyright laws.
The intent to deceive is so plain that only a moron could miss it (or Gideon, apparently!)
