Na.. on second thoughts - that is a cadaver or entirely fake.
No way could a guy sit up and expect his head to be held normally when all neck muscles have been severed and his blood supply is obviously not pumping despite this covers two main arterial areas.
There is also more than one strike with an instrument - looks more like a machet job and not particularly an "attempted beheading".
