The truth is all of that shit, JS, etc, ads to the limited stack in a small system. Just because you stick a 1GB card in your phone doesn't mean that your phone can use it as system RAM. It uses it as a disk.

Just server parse the home page, read the user agent and return the appropiate tour for the device. That doesn't have anything to do with the memory in someones phone, ipod etc..
