My experience has been quite different. I'd say the ratio is more like 50-50 with lots of single girls or in groups.
99.99% of the people are super camera friendly and will gladly pose for a picture. I can't tell you how many times some guy has brought his date up to me and asked if I'd like to take a picture of her. They dress for attention. They want your attention. They WANT to have their picture taken.
I can tell when people don't want their picture taken and I respect that but most do and they will go WAY out of their way to get my attention. I've been taking pictures and video of Bike Week for at least 20 years and I can honestly say that I've only had one person get mad because I was taking video of them. He was stopped on his bike on main street. He had a really nice bike so I took some video and he cussed me out. What makes the video clip priceless is while he was cussing at me I zoomed in on the name of his bike painted on the gas tank. It said " Bad Attitude "
