Sigh. You are the one that needs to read. We are talking about the billing period that starts 10-14-2007, ends 10-20-2007, and mailed 10-29-2007 (check your CCBILL payment stats, its all there). The original poster never mentioned "start" or "end". The previous period ended on the 13th and this one started on the 14th (since the original poster wrote "10-14-2007" we are talking about the one that started on this date), so you are the one that is confused. You actually believe people on GFY would wait 2 weeks to complain? HAHAHA. If you've been waiting 14+ days, then you must have a completely different check missing...
