				If they are endangered, is there an equivalent to the Animal Control divisions we have in the states? They may want to come remove it to a "safe location" where it can dig in peace, away from your place. Especially if you're in an urban area.

 I'm in a rural area. Sorry, endangered wasn't the word i was looking for. They are protected not endangered. There's no animal control here 
I don't see why they are protected, we can just go to North America and pick up a few million of them if we want...i'm sure they won't mind.
