No need for a big song and dance "I am going because" as nothing will change and if you were hoping for a shitload more "aww don't go man" rather than "fuck off good riddance" replies to make you feel good then you need to learn how to feel good about yourself without needing reassurance from anyone else.
Selling your nick is just weird. So someone buys it and changes it to FredSmith and everyone goes "who the fuck is this?" and looks up one of those 20,000 posts and sees it was you?
I won't say goodbye as in 99% of "I'm leaving" threads, I see the person posting again shortly after that.
