I told my son (who's 19) not to even THINK about it until he's at least in his 30's. Then, and only then if he thinks it's the right one. But I hope he's realized that through the years, he's found "the right one" enough times to know he's clueless as to what he really wants, lol!

I'm glad I had him early, because now I can have my private time, but I wish I had waited to get married. You do NOT know what you want or even who you are for such a long time. I'm in my 40's and I STILL don't know what I want

To settle down just to settle down is one of the most common and biggest mistakes I see people of ANY age make. It's not a bad thing to be alone.
