Because I have yet to hear a logical reason to get a tattoo or other body modification. Sorry guys, but sticking ink under my skin is not smart. And to say it "says/means" something, well sure what it says is you are:
insecure or
like attention (probably because you are insecure) or
gullible (duh everyone has one so I do too) or
some other equally boring reason
