Okay so surely before colonialism there must be some examples of great works of art, architecture or science from Africa, right? I can't think of any thing off the top of my head though. Can you tell us a little about the cultural contributions that Africa has made to man kind?
Perhaps arguable the Malinese Empire, however that's more like an example of good organization given they didn't leave anything notable behind. I think that the success of the Malinese Empire can be more attributed to Islam, however.
