Randy, It's easy to see why some people are laughing at your offer. The price you are asking for the domain is just way too high.
The only company that would be interested in a domain name like that is someone who is already using the name for their product, for example, "McDonalds.com".
Then again, anyone using that name for their product would have registered it a long time ago, or would be fighting you in court to obtain the name for a fair price instead of a squatters price.
For sure the name has some value, but $125k? I really doubt it. Have you considered putting the domain name up on an auction site instead? If this name is worth $125k to you, who knows? It may be worth $200k to someone else. You woudn't really know unless you auctioned it.
