100% except when I need someone to hold something in place. My "assistant" works for beer which is a bonus.

I always build these from scratch. It's pretty simple, just use my layout as a outline. Build 2 stud walls, plywood on the front, particle board for the top underlay and interior shelves, fabric cover the shelves, use whatever for the top, (I once used "peel & stick" tiles on a 16 ft bar!) and then cover the front - bead board, hardwood, laminate, carpet, whatever. I can usually blueprint the entire design on 1 piece of paper. As long as you keep it square it is really simple, you just have to get started. Even if you make small mistakes here and there, when it's complete you rarely notice. I should add I used base and corner trim around the bar top to finish the edge.
